Iain McWilliams, has played for many years within the Scottish folk/Band scene and has in the past supported such legends as Hamish Imlach and Matt McGuinn. Although his song writing ability led him to work for London's Red Bus Records during the eighties, releasing mainstream recordings in Europe and the UK, his roots are very firmly within folk music. With influences such as Gerry Rafferty, John Martyn and Alan Hull, Iain has always set high goals for himself and his crafted songs are passionately presented at a very high standard. His sons are now following this musical tradition and have honed their skills at major pipe band competitions including the World and European Championships 2008 - 2010. Together they form Culbeag. Iain and the boys have enjoyed recent success as guests of Mick West at the Partick Folk Club, Milngavie Folk Club, live sessions for Celtic Music Radio, part of Celtic Connections 2010, The Glasgow UNESCO Airplay Festival and Perthshire Amber Festival.
