Ceol an Aire (pronounced 'Kyol an Arra') was formed in 2010 following the success of the first Argyll Ceilidh Trail. The three founding members of Ceol an Aire all took part in the ceilidh trail which provided a fantastic experience involving a two week tour performing in a great range of venues around Argyll and the Islands. Ceol an Aire are Malcolm Clark - Vocals,
Ruairidh Morrison - Accordion,
Angus John MacColl - Bagpipes,
Ewan Macdonald - Keyboard/ Guitar
Since then, the band has been performing regularly in various forms and now, as of 2013, the band has formalised its line-up. With influences ranging from the traditional West Coast pipe marches to the more contemporary sounds of Gordon Duncan's reels, Ceol an Aire has found its own style within the Scottish music scene.
With a wealth of experience performing for a variety of events across Scotland and further afield, regulars in Ceol an Aire's diary include birthday celebrations, wedding dances, fundraisers & bar entertainment.
